Development Intern

Salary Range: $17.50 To $17.50 Hourly

Responsibilities

(Subject to Adjustment by Mutual Agreement)

Working closely with the Development team, this work will focus on the following projects and deliverables:

Donor Stewardship

  • Supporting the individual membership program with outreach via telephone renewal campaigns, mail, email, and other tasks.
  • Assisting with the planning process for 2025 member events and Covert Cocktails.
  • Digitizing membership paperwork.
  • Processing donor acknowledgement letters.

Donor Identification

  • Researching existing and potential donors
  • Entering and updating contact information and other data in Salesforce, the Museum’s constituent database

Experience and Skills

  • Demonstrated customer service excellence Excellent written communication skills, exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills, good time manager
  • Ability to work within a team environment; demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for a diverse population

Education Requirement

  • This internship is open to anyone currently pursuing their post-secondary pathway, including undergraduates, graduate students, and persons seeking a professional certificate or an associate degree.

Hours and Compensation*

  • Summer Internship
    •  240 hours over 10 weeks. This could be 8 hours 3 days a week, or 5 hours 5 days a week, from roughly June – August.

*The internship terms listed are for general reference. Weekly hours and schedule will be determined based on department need and the student’s academic schedule. Most interns will complete 240 hours over the duration of the internship.

This is a paid internship with an hourly wage of $17.50 . The internship does not entitle, nor guarantee, the intern employment at the conclusion of the internship.

ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø offers academic credit for this internship. The Museum will work with the intern to complete all necessary forms to receive credit, but the intern is responsible for making all appropriate arrangements with their school.
